Kumusta po!
Sorry
in advance, no pictures! It's not worth trying this computer, I know there are
viruses here haha. I have a ton of pictures to share with you guys though, so
hopefully next week we find a computer that will load them!
This
week went great! It went by super fast, we had a few FHEs! Family Home Evening
is one of my favorite things in the mission. Especially when we do it with a
family for their very first time, to help them set their own brand new
traditions.
We
had more investigators come to church this week than last week, hopefully the
trend continues and get to successfully invite more and more people to attend
and seek Jesus Christ.
I'm
short on time, but my spiritual thought is going to be twofold:
1)
I'm reading Jesus the Christ again, so get ready for some Christ centered
thoughts in the next few months! That's where most of my thoughts came from at
the beginning of my mission, it is so full of beautiful insights. Right now I'm
understanding the world before Jesus Christ was born, and the condition of Judaism.
It's super interesting how the laws and customs match what certain people did
to Christ, I used to just wonder why they didn't believe, but now it makes a
lot more sense. Their responses are almost natural when we understand in their
head, it reminds me of Ender's Game, and how we have to love our enemies. In
this case the enemies of Christ, and I'm trying to understand why in the world
they did what they did.
2) I
was very touched by a talk at church centered on the quote "no one cares
how much you know, until they know how much you care". I feel my spiritual
knowledge growing, but I'm no lick of help to anyone if all I have is knowledge
and no love. Hopefully this changes my missionary work and how I interact with
other people, but I will constantly be trying to love more, then let the spirit
distill knowledge on those I teach.
Thanks
for following, I love you all!
